Who We Are

We are a women-led organization committed to advancing women in the construction industry on job sites, in boardrooms, and throughout our communities. As a NAWIC chapter, we provide opportunities for women to grow through education, leadership, and connection.
We partner with industry leaders to support recruitment, retention, and recognition of women across all construction roles. We also advocate for small women-owned businesses and create space for meaningful collaboration.
Our commitment extends beyond the industry. Through programs like Block Kids, Design Drafting, scholarships, and hands-on volunteer efforts, we give back to the communities we help build.
The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) was founded in 1953 by sixteen women working in the construction industry. The founders organized NAWIC to create a support network for women working in a male-dominated field. Today, NAWIC has over 115 chapters throughout the United States that provide its members with opportunities for professional development, education, networking, leadership training, public service and more. NAWIC continues the vision of its founding members by advocating for the value and impact of women builders, professionals and tradeswomen in all aspects of the construction industry.
