Updates from PSW Spring Forum

The Pacific Southwest 2024 Spring Forum was held in Honolulu, Hawaii on May 8-10. For this Forum, the Pacific Southwest and Pacific Northwest regions joined together to host the first-ever joint Spring Forum.

Attendees had the opportunity to hear from an incredible slate of speakers and participate in educational tours and activities. The regions also met separately to conduct business. During the forum, the regions raised funds for the NAWIC Education Foundation (NEF), and the Pacific Southwest Region raised over $10,000!

Here are some other important updates for the Pacific Southwest Region:

Myrna Smith, a past Region Director, was

re-elected for a second term as a Region

Trustee. There are 3 Region Trustees, the

other Trustees are Patty Waldhouse, Salt Lake Chapter 90, and Robin Fulton-Meyer, Member At Large. The Region Trustees serve 3-year terms.

Utah-based company BHI, Co was the 1st place winner of the Pacific Southwest Region Safety Excellence Award for Large Companies. This award was accepted by Salt Lake Chapter President, Kaitlyn Eaton, and later presented to the company.

The Salt Lake Chapter CAD Competition 1st Place winner, Conner Peterson, was selected as the 3rd Place winner for the regional competition. Conner will be presented with a plaque and a check for $200.
